Dr. Fred A. Puccio is the Principal of Midland Family Dental Care started practicing in 1994 with his expertise lying in all areas of dentistry from cosmetic to implants. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and completed his post-doctoral specialized trailing at East Orange VA Medical Center. He has received numerous commendations from the Office of the Chief of Staff. Not only is he a clinical instructor of NYU College of Dentistry in the Honors restorative clinic but he also teaches at Hacksensack University Medical Center in the De4ntal Deaprtment where he received an award of “Teaching Attending of the Year”. Among his many other accomplishments, he has been awarded “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America and is regarded as a highly skilled practitioner of his field.
Dr. Waleed Ben Elchami completed his undergraduate studies at NYU and went on to complete his post graduate studies at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey dental school, and post-doctoral residency at Hackensack University Medical Center for general dentistry in 2006. Dr. Elchami practices general, cosmetic, pediatric, endodontic, and prosthetic dentistry and with CEREC technology experience of 6 years, he extensively trained which allows him to assist in training other dentists together with Dr. Puccio.
Dr. Robert DeFalco also graduated from NYU School of Dentistry in 1992 and then went to a General Practice residency for a year before completing a four year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. In March 1999, he received his board certification from the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently, he is an assistant clinical professor at the Seton Hall School of Graduate Medical Education. Dr. DeFalco is also a well-known lecturer on topics from Craniofacial Surgery to Medical Emergencies. His practice covers a variety of procedures including implants, third molar extractions, cosmetic surgery, birth defects, pathological procedures, orthognastic surgery, and trauma.
Dr. Christopher Bauer completed his undergraduate studies at Monclair State University in 1998. For three years he worked as an analytical chemist for a major pharmaceutical company before attending University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School. After graduating from UMDNJ in 2005, he continued his education in oral surgery, head, and neck trauma with a completed one year General Practice residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ. Dr. Bauer advanced his education with a residency in Endodontics at NYU. Now his specialty includes Endodontics and root canal therapy. He has received multiple awards over the years in recognition of his work.
Dr. Helen Ann DeSimone graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University undergraduate in 2000 and NYU College of Dentistry in 2003. Her general practice residency was completed in 2004 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. DiSimone concluded a Special Care Dentistry fellowship in 2006 at the Rose F. Kennedy/Montefiore Medical Center. She has also recently finished her training in pediatric dentistry and serves as chief resident of pediatric dentistry at Staten Island University. She serves as a current Director of Pediatric Dentistry at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Dr. DeSimone’s practice included all types of pediatric dental treatment ranging from fillings, sealents, to space maintainers and extractions. She is also responsible for all of our special needs patients.
